The Fields Grow up and Flower

Wind breaks and young berries grew quickly.
Experiencing first flower in South Africa was rewarding.
Highbush varieties grew taller than "Mrs. Farmer Brown", (Amanda Hibbers). The farm became literally inundated with 100's of millions of flowers.
Flowers gave way to what seemed like an enormous amount of fruit.
The plants seen here are predominantly of the Rabbiteye-O'Neil variety, which provide an early harvest and became key to the South African Blueberry Company resulting success.
