The South African Blueberry Company hand picks all fruit, insuring that only ripe berries are harvested, while preserving each berries bloom. Bloom is the fine white cover found on the surface of the fruit, easily removed by friction.
While on the topic of "hand picked", have a look at these whoppers. Their large size is partially do to the attention given towards detailed pruning.
