the Western Cape receives snow upon it's high peaks. This peak
looks down onto the valley and berry fields.

Seldom if ever do we see
frost on the ground as evidenced by these images taken in 2000.

Records show that it has snowed in Franschhoek at least once each 100 years. These pictures were taken
on the pass behind the farm on the morning August 20th, 2003.
These images were taken
early in the morning. The snow did no damage to the crop.
