Dodelijk Mooi - Wapens Uit Centraal-Afrika, is the DUTCH VERSION of Beaute Fatale - Arme d'Afrique Centrale. This is a highly important catalogue of an African Weapons exhibition which took place 18/12/1992 to 28/02/1993 - Le Crédit Communale de Belgique - Passage 44 - Bruxelles.

 

 

      

 

 

Dodelijk Mooi - Beaute Fatale has over 500 images of African weapons, African shields, African maps, drawings and tribal photographs. Fantastic objects were assembled from six museums as well as European private collections.

 

 

      

 

 

Items included are from Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Equatorial French Congo, Gabon, Guinea, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zaire 'Democratic Republic of Congo - DRC'. Major tribal groups were divided into 16 ethnic and stylistic groups.
