a booklet printed in 1955 with 48 pages. It was produced for the
government of the Union of South Africa with the aim of educating
visitors to the country about tribal migration, customs and the various
peoples of South Africa. Over half of the pages were illustrated by Barbara Tyrrell
who captured the vanishing traditions of
Southern Africa. Barbara Tyrrell later wrote Tribal Peoples of Southern
Africa - Suspicion is my Name and African Heritage.
